Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club
About the Club
Boating activities have been part of life on beautiful Noosa River throughout its recorded history. Organised competitive rowing and sailing date back to at least the early 1950s when the Noosa River Sailing club and Noosa Rowing club came into existence
The Noosa Yacht and Rowing club boasts a strong, varied and competitive sailing division. The local conditions are highly suited to trailer sailor style designs and the senior competitive activities are heavily represented by this class of boats, especially our substantial fleet of very competitive Blazer class yachts. Another very popular and highly competitive class is the Laser skiff division and there are also a selection of multihull and other sports boats to round out the mix.
